We are a progressive Spiritualist Community that embraces people of all faiths to join us for our Sunday services and events.

Ours is a God-led church. We believe in the existence of God, Jesus and many other great Masters and people who are leaders and mentors for us all on our spiritual journeys. There have always been strong, courageous men and women of faith who shave inspired us to seek out our own greatness by the example of their lives well-lived.

On every continent of this world people from simple backgrounds have grown into giants among us. They have risen above the perceived limitations of their circumstances and gone on to inspire those around them to become who they really are. People like Jesus, Gandhi, The Dalai Lama, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Joan of Arc to name but a few of our great leaders of faith.

We all need to believe in ourselves and as we go through life we choose people who’s lives and stories resemble ours in some way, to learn by their example how we might traverse the obstacles and challenges that we face in our daily lives resourcefully. After all, if others can find a way out of the dilemmas around them, then we all can.

It’s up to each one of us to choose our leaders, our heroes if you will, to set an example of a life well-lived so that we may also feel well-lived at the conclusion of our life experiences here. After all, this life is but a chapter in the book you are writing for your self.

We are a church that opens its doors to everyone who has a desire to know themselves spiritually. Everyone has “a path”, everyone is on “a journey”, everyone has “lessons to learn” we can help you remember yours.

Guiding Star Church has undergone many changes in the past few years and as we look into the future we know that, to paraphrase Rev. Joyce Meyers, “We’re not where we want to be and we’re not where we are going to be, but thank God, we’re not where we used to be!”

We thank God for leading us day by day to the people, places and experiences that help us grow as a church, as a community and as individuals.
